"Kesarwani Samaj Ka Vrihad Itihas" (A detailed history of Kesarwani samaj: Emergence, Development & Present) written by Er. Shambhu Nath and edited by Mohan Lal Gupta, is going to be dedicated to the Kesarwani Society on 30th March, 2008 at Varanasi, UP on the occassion of 28th Annual holimilan and marriage introduction celebration. Kesarwani people from different part of India will be attending the function.

Also Senior patron Sri Ram Gopal Gupta of satna (MP) will be honored by lifetime achievement award for his services to the society. The chief guest on the occassion will be Sri Ram Kinkar Gupta, IAS, Director Narmada Project (MP). Justice PremShankar Gupta will grace the occassion and Dr. M.K.Gupta, Ex-President will preside over the function.

04/04/08: By Engineer Shri Shambhu Nath . 28th Holi Milan and Marriage Introduction celebration was organized by Varanasi Nagar Kesarwani Sabha on 30/03/08 at Ganeshmandapam, Nati Imli, Varanasi. The program was presided over by National Patron Dr. M.K. Gupta and was graced by Justice Prem Shankar Gupta. Justice Gupta is a recipient of International Award for his services to Hindi. The program started at 6:30 PM with Ganesh Vandana and lighting of Mangaldeep in the pious memory of Kashyap Muni, the Gotracharya. Large number of people (approx three-four thousand) of the Kesarwani community along with their family members were present. The program was anchored by Dr. Virendra Kesarwani. The cultural program presented by the WomenÕs Wing of Kesarwani Sabha was the first glimpse of the occasion and talent of children was highly appreciated by guests and audiences. The program proceeded with release of two books by Justice Prem Shankar Gupta- first ÔKesarwani Samaj Ka Vrihad ItihasÕ written by Er. Shambhu Nath (Patna) and second ÔTuaraÕ a book in Bhojpuri by Sri Om Prakash Kesari ÔPawan NandanÕ (Buxar). A comemorable book on the occasion detailing the activities of women wing and youth club was also released. The special guests who attended the celebration included President elect Sri Ram Lakhan Gupta, Vice President Sri Sitaram Gupta, General Secretary Sri Shiv Kumar Vaishya, Editor of Kesar Sanrachna & publisher of the book ÔKesarwani Samaj Ka Vrihad ItihasÕ Sri Mohanlal Gupta (New Delhi), Senior Advocate of Allahabad High Court Sri Pradeep Kumar, State President (Uttar Pradesh) of Kesarwani Sabha Sri P.C. Kesarwani (Rtd. IAS), Dr. S.K.Prasad (Rtd. Scientist, ICAR, New Delhi) and many dignitaries from Madhya Pradesh and all over India. In his address to people, Chief Guest Justice Gupta emphasized on carrying more social researches and it should become a continuous process. Appreciating the effort by Er. Shambhu Nath, he said that his book ÔKesarwani Samaj ka Vrihad ItihasÕ is the ÔTriveniÕ of literature, history and research. He suggested publication of a brief edition with lower cost so that it can be affordable for everyone. The book in Bhojpuri by Sri Om Prakash Kesri was also appreciated by the chief guest and he said that books in folk language ultimately enrich Hindi. He also stressed on developing reading habits from early age in children and importance of role of parents in it. As it was celebration of festival of colours, so Justice Gupta cited many references of Holi of Braj and Lord Krishna. He ended with phrases from ÔMadhushalaÕ written by Dr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan. He appreciated and encouraged people for organizing the evening. The Guests were honored by presenting momentos, shawl and citations. People present on the occasion enjoyed meeting, arrangements and group dinner
