Shri Ashwini Kesharwani

Prof. Ashiwini Kesarwani is the 6th descendant of Shri Govind Sav – a writer contemporary with Bharetndu Harischandra. He was born on 18/08/1958 in a Malgujar family of Shivarinaraian - Chhattisgarh. He studied in Shivarinarain, Bilaspur & Raipur. He started article writing, while pursuing M.Sc. (Zoology) from Government College, Raipur. In the same year, he edited Silver Jubilee college-magazine “Manisha”, ranked 3rd in merit & also won the Gold Medal.
From last three decades he is regularly writing Essay, Reportaj, Remembrance & Commentary in the nation’s reputed periodicals & magazines viz. Dharmyug, Navneet, Kadambini, Dainik Hindustan, Amar Ujala, Dainik Jagran and Tribune etc. His different conversations are also broadcasted from Akashvani center Raipur & Laspur
His philanthropic works on forgotten writers, composers, literary authors of Chhatishgarh is well appreciable. He writes on temples, tourist & archeological places in Chhatishgarh. There is no newspaper in Chhatishgarh, in which the articles of Shri Ashiwini Kesarwani are not published. He has got a big heart & broad mind to praise others. He is instrumental to project the Chhatishgarh at the national level.
He has written a serial article in ‘Dainik Navbharat’ with the title “Mahanadi Ghati Ke Sahityakar”on 16 literary authors viz. Thakur Jagmohan Singh, Malik Ram Bhogha, Pt. Medini Prasad Pandey, Raja Chakrdhar Singh, Hiralal Kavyopadhyay, Sundarlal Ji Sharma, Ramdayal Tiwari, Pt. Mukutdhar Pandey.
He had also written on Prahalad Dube (Saranggarh), Pt. Anantram Pandey (Raigarh), Pt. Sukhlal Prasad Pandey (Sarseevan), Pt. Kishori Mohan Tripathi (Raigarh), Bhawani Shankar Khandagi, Mustafa Husain Musphil, Dr. Ram Kumar Behar, Prof. Dinesh Kumar Pandey, Vedmani Singh Thakur….. in “Jankarm” daily with the title “Raigarh Jile Ke Sahitaykar”
