Shri Shambhu Nath Ji S/o Late Shri Ganga Prasad, was born on 04/07/1942. Probably
he is the first person from Kesarwani community to complete M.E. (IIT-Roorkee).
He served Govt. of Bihar from 1964 to 2000 and got retired as Chief Engineer &
Director in 2000.
He got married to Mrs. Renubala Ram, grand daughter of
Padm Bhushan Dr. Dukhan Ram.He is blessed with 01 son & 02 daughters.
The family members are as follows:

2- Daughter-in-law: Anita Kesari, M.Sc. (H.S.), B.Ed., M.B.A.

He is working on Kesarwani's various aspect of social, economical, cultural and
historical background. He was member of
Akhil Bharatiya Kesarwani Vaishy Maha Sabha (1988-90), President - Bihar
Pradesh Kesarwani Vaishy Sabha (1990-92), Vice president - Prabhuddh Vaishy Samaj,
Patna (1995-97), President - Prabuddh Vaishy Samaj, Engg. Section, Patna (2003-06).
He is chairman of National Language promotion Committee, The Institution of Engineers
(India), Bihar State Center.
He is a poet, essay writer & translator from Hindi to English & Vice-versa.
Many of his poetry & research on social issues have been published in local
periodicals. He has published a book "Bharat mein Vaishyon ki jansankhya - Ek
Adhyayan" (Vaishy Population in India - A Study), in June-2007. Manuscript
on various subjects is made ready by him and publication of his book "Kesarwani
Samaj Ka Vrihad Itihas" is awaited in recent future.
He got honored as "Bharatiya Hindi Sahitya Bhooshan" by Rachnakar
Parishad, Katani (M.P.) for year 2007.
