Shree P.C. Kesarwani (I.A.S. Retd.) was born at Jasra, District Allahabad. His father
Late Bachau Lal was a business man & mother Bhagwati Devi was pious & religious
lady. He got his early education & Intermediate at Kesarwani Inter College,
Jasra & s post graduated from Allahabad University.
Mr. Kesarwani had started his career with Excise Service in U.P. in year 1965 &
continued till year 1969. Later he was selected in PCS - Bihar. He got promotion
to I.A.S. in year .......... He has served there in different administrative capacities
such as SDM, ADM & Add. Collector, Director of Adult Education, Deputy Development
Commissioner, and District Magistrate & Collector. He was District Magistrate
of Jamui District in Bihar from 01/07/1998 to 15/11/1999, DDC of Jamui District
from 02/11/1999 to 15/11/1999, then he got responsibility of Collector & District
Magistrate of Saharsa District in Bihar & worked there from 16/11/1999 to 16/06/2000.
His last posting was in Patna secretariat as Additional Secretary in Health Department,
Govt. of Bihar.
After retirement, he has settled in Allahabad (U.P.). At present he is attached
with
Shree Nand Lal Gupta (Nandi),
Cabinet Minister in U.P. Government. He is convener of
Akhil Bhartiya Kesarwani Arakshan Committee & pursuing for reservation
of Kesrawani in U.P. He is General Secretary of ‘Kesarwani Vaishya Sabha’ U.P. &
actively involved in welfare of “Kesrawani Samaj”. He is also secretary of ‘Gramodya
Seva Sansthan’ Jasra a NGO working for handicapped. He arrnge the distribution of
tricycle worth about Rs.12 lakh among handicapped poor person.
For quality education in rural area, he has taken initiative to open English medium
school
Shri B.L. Convent School at Jasra. Lot of poor student is
getting benefit by this.
He has firmed believe & faith in “par hit dharma kabhi nahi nibhai" & “Survey
bhavantu sukhina”.
