Kesari Surabhi Sangthan

Kesari Surabhi Sangthan is a registered social, educational & cultural organization of the Kesarwani Samaj of Mumbai, Thane & nearby areas, registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. The sangthan was established in 1985. All the members of this sangthan are women. The remarkable features of this organization is that it is organized, managed & run by the leading women of our society.

It holds annual function cum meet every year on immediate next/first Sunday after Diwali. The function is a means of meeting of all the Kesarwanies in and around Mumbai. In the annual function, lot of programs viz. Fancy dress competition, Dance competition, Rangoli Competition etc. are organised among Kesarwanies.

The Sangathan also rewards the kesarwani students of 10th and 12th standard, who have scored above 70 % and also to the students who have scored above 75% from 5th to 9th std. People have acquired professional degree (Engg, MBA, Doctor's degree etc.) are also honored along with their parents. This year i.e. 2005, the sangathan provided financial help also to some of the needy kesarwanis.

Kesarwani Surabhi has also been successful in collection of the computerised family details of all the families that attends the function after Diwali.

The main purpose of the sangathan is to bring together all the Kesarwanies and work together for the well-being and upliftment of the Kesarwani Samaj.
