On January 04, 1932, Mahatma Gandhi was arrested by Mumbai Police just after arriving
India. To protest that, Nagar Congress Committee, Allahabad had organised a procession
from Darwesvnath Temple, Jhonston Ganj, Allahabd. Four people got crushed by the
horse ridden police. Late Suraj Narayan Kesarwani, Retired Servicemen, 64 Years
was also one of the deceased.
